Happy New Year, Mountain House! Things are a little quiet in the community and around town this month, so take some time to put away the holiday decorations, get organized, and begin planning for a great 2019. Tuesdays - Family Storytime
Time for a new tradition this new year? Check out the weekly storytime at the Mountain House Library, Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. Check out this event, and other library events, here.
Sundays - Farmers Market
The weekly Farmers Market is still going strong every Sunday at Wicklund Park from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Get your healthy eating goals off to a great start by shopping fresh and local produce right here in Mountain House.
January 5 - Polar Run & Dunk
Hit the ground running in 2019 (literally!) with a 5 or 10K run along the beautiful Eagal Lakes course. If you’re really feeling adventurous, take the plunge in the frigid water of Eagal Lake after the race! Bring the kids for the one-mile Cub Dash. Register here.
January 12 - 27 - The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Don’t miss the Bankhead Theater’s production of the beloved Victor Hugo classic, complete with songs from the Disney film. Get your tickets here.
January 18 - Melissa Manchester
Singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester will perform her many hits over the past several decades at the Bankhead Theater. Show starts at 8:00 p.m. Get your tickets here.
January 20 - 15th Annual Charity Crab Feed
Expect a fun and delicious night at Livermore’s Eight Bridges Brewery as they host their annual crab feed dinner. Proceeds benefit cancer research and the Veterans Memorial. Get more event information and make reservations here.
January 21 - Branford Marsalis Quartet
Don’t miss acclaimed saxophonist Branford Marsalis and his small jazz ensemble at the Bankhead Theater at 7:30 p.m. Purchase tickets here.

January 3 - 6 - Lantern Light Festival, Alameda County Fairground
